Michelle is a News Anchor and Morning News Reporter at Cox Media Group as well as formerly serving as the Founder and CEO of Wright Choice Media. She has served as an Anchor, an In-House Reporter, and a Freelance Journalist for Cox Radio, including a Freelance FM Anchor for Kiss 104.1 writing AP Style News Headlines and delivering morning news casts meeting different deadlines every half hour. She is skilled at complex video projects, whether audio-books, commercials, promos, narrations or industrial videos.
Michelle served as a Senior Producer for the Impact Partnership, where she wrote, hosted and produced hour long talk shows for financial advisors with a focus on and for retirees and pre-retirees, which helped the financial advisors to build their brand and their business. These were broadcast around the United States. As a Morning Anchor at All News 106.7 with Cumulus Media, Michelle Anchored the morning news block from 5:00 am to 10:00 am, Monday-Friday on Atlanta’s First All News Radio station. This entailed writing AP style, active voice stories, editing audio, editing copy, conducting live interviews, running audio board, delivering the news and handling breaking news situations with ease, confidence and urgency.
Michelle served as a Media Producer at CNN where she wrote, edited, produced and anchored news casts each half hour daily that consisted of the day’s top stories from both national and international news wires for CNN’s numerous Radio affiliates around the world. She was a Reporter and Anchor WDBO for Cox Media’s mid-day and afternoon news casts and Co-Anchored the morning news. She reported on breaking news as well as other news and feature events.
