Brandon is a venture-backed technology executive with 30 years operational experience developing and executing innovative growth strategies. His operating experience includes leading early-stage, mid-cap and two global service companies.
Brandon’s executive management responsibilities have included technology, engineering, marketing, product and corporate development. He has twenty years of deal experience, is an entrepreneur, an angel and a venture partner in private equity. He is experienced at driving global corporate innovation and growth from concept through execution both organic and acquisitive around a market strategy. His innovation activities include thought leadership on the front end (market and needs analysis thru ideation) to business model development, funding and go-to-market strategy with creative uses of technology and partner leverage. He has a track record of innovation and creativity in building market leading companies.
Brandon currently serves as Chief Executive Officer at Xcite Interactive, which empowers interactive engagement. Xcite extends and enhances live or programmed shows in a way that includes the audience through extreme engagement. Brands and sponsors, including professional sport franchises, are now able to connect with their online audiences, enabling new and meaningful activations.
Brandon also serves as co-founder of Third Drive. As a graduate from West Virginia University with a BSME in Engineering, he has many years of experience driving innovation and technology in business. He engineered large-scale networks and systems infrastructure for IBM before launching his entrepreneurial career. Later, he went on to serve as the EVP and CTO for OnSite Access, building the company from concept to over 600 employees, operating in 25 cities and providing next generation communications services to thousands of commercial “smart buildings.”
Brandon served as an advisor and investor to several Silicon Valley technology companies before joining a Private Equity firm in New York City leading Media & Telecom deals. In the last decade, he’s served as the head of global engineering for Caprock Communications, founded and sold a Smart Building professional services company and led the effort to architect and build a global Maritime broadband service company. He is an extraordinary public speaker and is able to tackle complex business and technology topics in a way that only a leader with a proven history of success in business would understand.
